1. Data Processing
Chat Archaeology processes your WhatsApp chat files entirely in your browser. Your raw chat files are never uploaded to our servers; analysis happens in your browser. Only the final report is securely saved for 7 days so you can access it later.
2. Pro Analysis Data
When you purchase a Pro Analysis, your chat file is temporarily stored on our servers to perform AI analysis. This data is automatically deleted immediately after analysis is complete. Only anonymized analysis results are saved to generate your report.
3. Report Storage
Your Pro Analysis reports are stored for 7 days from the date of purchase. After this period, all data including your report is permanently deleted from our servers. We cannot recover deleted reports.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google) AI services for Pro Analysis. Your chat content is sent to these services for analysis only. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
5. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, a secure payment processor. We do not store or have access to your payment information.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal cookies only for essential functionality. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify individual users.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. Since we automatically delete data after 7 days, most requests are fulfilled automatically. For immediate deletion requests, please contact us.
